Eight people burnt to death on Lagos-Ibadan expressway

Eight people were burnt to death in an accident on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Saturday, September 19.

The lone accident involving a Mazda bus marked AAA 249 VX occurred at about 8:45p.m. near Saapade bridge as a result of burst tire that caused the bus to somersault and burst into flames.

11 people were involved in the accident; three male adults, one female adult, one child and six unidentified persons.

8 died while 3 were injured and rushed to Idera Hospital, Sagamu, for medical attention.

Chico Ejiro died in my hands – wife

Speaking for the first time on her husband’s death, wife of popular Nollywood filmmaker, Joy Ejiro shared a picture of herself and Ejiro on Instagram on Saturday. She said she was glad to have spent the past 26 years with him. She wrote: “This is a rude shock!!!! We had a lot of plans for Christmas, we spoke a lot about how the day will go, we were recounting how God has been good to us this year and how grateful we are to be alive. “I never knew it was going to be my last midnight gist with you.
