Covid-19: 550 new cases recorded in Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 550 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria on Tuesday December 8.

According to the NCDC, the new cases were recorded in the following states: Lagos-219, FCT-168, Kaduna-52, Kwara-19, Kano-15, Rivers-15, Sokoto-10, Enugu-9, Gombe-8, Plateau-7, Osun-7, Anambra-5, Oyo-5, Jigawa-4, Ogun-4, Bauchi-2, and Edo-1.

As at Tuesday, December 8, 70,195 confirmed cases has been recorded in the country. 1,182 deaths have been recorded and 65,110 patients who recovered from the disease have also been discharged.

Chico Ejiro died in my hands – wife

Speaking for the first time on her husband’s death, wife of popular Nollywood filmmaker, Joy Ejiro shared a picture of herself and Ejiro on Instagram on Saturday. She said she was glad to have spent the past 26 years with him. She wrote: “This is a rude shock!!!!
