The Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari has tested positive to Coronavirus.
He was said to have possibly contracted the virus during a visit to Germany and Egypt for a meeting on the Nigerian Electricity Regulation Commission, whose executive chairman, Prof. James Momoh was part of.
He was reported to have also attended several other meetings after he returned last week from the trips.
Kyari was said to have started coughing during a meeting on Sunday at the villa, which fuelled speculation that he could be infected. He was tested and the result which came out this morning, confirmed him positive.
President Buhari who was tested as well, however was negative.
