Covid-19: NCDC confirms 147 new cases and 4 deaths in Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported that 147 new cases of Covid-19 and 4 deaths were confirmed in Nigeria on Wednesday, October 28 2020.

The 147 new cases are reported from 12 states- Lagos (82), FCT (20), Rivers (9), Kaduna (8), Plateau (8), Benue (5), Edo (3), Kano (3), Nasarawa (3), Taraba (3), Ogun (2), and Bauchi (1).

As at Wednesday, October 28 there are 62371 cases confirmed. 58095 cases have been discharged and 1139 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Chico Ejiro died in my hands – wife

Speaking for the first time on her husband’s death, wife of popular Nollywood filmmaker, Joy Ejiro shared a picture of herself and Ejiro on Instagram on Saturday. She said she was glad to have spent the past 26 years with him. She wrote: “This is a rude shock!!!!
