Covid-19: 307 new cases reported across Nigeria

307 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported from 14 states and the FCT by the NCDC.

Out of the 307, 188 were reported in Lagos, 44 in FCT, 19 in Ogun, 14 in Kaduna, 12 in Oyo, 9 in Bayelsa, 5 in Gombe, 3 in Kano, 3 in Delta, 2 in Imo, 2 in Rivers, 2 in Niger, 2 in Bauchi, 1 in Plateau, and 1 in Kwara.

Covid-19: 20 Nigerian doctors died in one week – NMA

The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has announced that 20 doctors died of Coronavirus complications within the past seven days. Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Enema Amodu, revealed this in Abuja during a press briefing on Friday, December 25. Chico Ejiro died in my hands – wife

Speaking for the first time on her husband’s death, wife of popular Nollywood filmmaker, Joy Ejiro shared a picture of herself and Ejiro on Instagram on Saturday. She said she was glad to have spent the past 26 years with him. She wrote: “This is a rude shock!!!! We had a lot of plans for Christmas, we spoke a lot about how the day will go, we were recounting how God has been good to us this year and how grateful we are to be alive. “I never knew it was going to be my last midnight gist with you. You died in my hands Chico, you left me so confused and devastated,” she wrote. Ejiro died in the early hours of Christmas Day from suspected cardiac arrest. Nicknamed Mr Prolific by journalist Azuh Arinze, Chico was mourned by so many Nollywood actors including Richard Mofe-Damijo, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Regina Askia, Yul Edochie, Ik Ogbonna, and Femi Jacobs.
