Covid-19: 350 cases reported in Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 350 new cases of Covid-19 in Nigeria.

According to NCDC, 102 of the cases were recorded in Lagos, 34 in Ogun, 29 in Abuja FCT, 26 in Borno, 23 in Kaduna, 21 in Rivers, 17 in Ebonyi, 16 in Kwara, 14 in Katsina, 10 in Edo, 10 in Delta, 10 in Kano, 10 in Bauchi, 9 in Bayelsa, 8 in Imo, 4 in Plateau, 3 in Ondo, 2 in Nasarawa, 1 in Gombe, 1 in Oyo.

Chico Ejiro died in my hands – wife

Speaking for the first time on her husband’s death, wife of popular Nollywood filmmaker, Joy Ejiro shared a picture of herself and Ejiro on Instagram on Saturday. She said she was glad to have spent the past 26 years with him. She wrote: “This is a rude shock!!!! We had a lot of plans for Christmas, we spoke a lot about how the day will go, we were recounting how God has been good to us this year and how grateful we are to be alive. “I never knew it was going to be my last midnight gist with you. You died in my hands Chico, you left me so confused and devastated,” she wrote. Ejiro died in the early hours of Christmas Day from suspected cardiac arrest.
