490 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 according to reports by the NCDC.
According to the NCDC, 142 out of the 490 new cases were recorded in Lagos, 60 in FCT, 54 in Bayelsa, 39 in Rivers, 37 in Delta, 30 in Oyo, 26 in Kaduna, 23 in Imo, 19 in Enugu, 17 in Kwara, 11 in Gombe, 10 in Ondo, 8 in Bauchi, 7 in Ogun, 6 in Borno, and 1 in Benue State.
In total, as at Tuesday, June 16, Nigeria has recorded 17,148 cases of COVID-19. 5,623 patients have been discharged from various isolation centers across the country, while 455 people have died from the disease.
