Covid-19: 389 new cases recorded in Nigeria

389 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Nigeria by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). 9 people were also reported to have died on Saturday, June 6

According to the NCDC, 66 of the new cases were recorded in Lagos, 50 in FCT, 32 in Delta, 31 in Oyo, 26 in Borno, 24 in Rivers, 23 in Edo, 23 in Ebonyi, 17 in Anambra, 17 in Gombe, 14 in Nasarawa, 12 in Imo, 12 in Kano, 12 in Sokoto, 8 in Jigawa, 7 in Ogun, 5 in Bauchi, 2 in Kebbi, 2 in Kaduna, 2 in Katsina, 2 in Ondo, 1 each in Abia and Niger states.

Nigeria now has 12233 confirmed cases of COVID19. 3826 patients have been discharged while 342 deaths have been recorded so far.
